How PicoJoy handles player and website data.
This Privacy Policy explains how PicoJoy Pte. Ltd. collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use our games, websites, player support, and related services.
1. Scope and controller
This Privacy Policy applies to PicoJoy Pte. Ltd. ("PicoJoy", "we", "us", or "our") and to PicoJoy games and services, including titles such as 24点速算, 汉字大挑战, 雀神对对消, and other PicoJoy-published experiences unless a specific title provides a separate privacy notice.
Our services may be available through mobile app stores, web browsers, mini-program platforms, social platforms, and other distribution channels. The platform you use may also process your data under its own privacy policy.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on the game, platform, region, and features you use.
Information you provide
- Contact details and support messages, such as your email address, message content, screenshots, order information, or other details you send to us.
- Account or profile details if a title supports accounts, such as nickname, avatar, player ID, login method, or region.
- Survey, beta testing, community, or partner inquiry information that you choose to submit.
Gameplay, device, and technical information
- Game activity, progress, scores, achievements, level attempts, virtual item balances, preferences, and similar gameplay events.
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating system, app version, language, country or region, crash logs, diagnostics, network status, and approximate location inferred from IP address.
- Identifiers used for app functionality, analytics, fraud prevention, advertising, or attribution, such as platform account identifiers, app instance IDs, advertising IDs, or similar resettable identifiers where permitted.
Purchases, ads, analytics, and third-party SDKs
- If a game offers in-app purchases, we may receive purchase status, product ID, transaction ID, receipt validation results, and related store information. We do not receive full payment card numbers from Apple, Google, or other app stores.
- If a game uses ads, analytics, crash reporting, anti-fraud, attribution, login, cloud save, or similar SDKs, those providers may collect information from or about your device and app activity to provide their services.
- Our website may process browser information, IP address, pages visited, referring pages, and basic log data. It may also load fonts or images from third-party hosting providers, which can cause your browser to connect to those providers.
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, localize, maintain, and improve our games and websites.
- Save progress, support leaderboards or achievements, process purchases, deliver virtual items, and respond to player support requests.
- Monitor performance, fix bugs, analyze gameplay balance, measure installs or campaigns, and improve player experience.
- Show ads, measure ad performance, prevent ad fraud, and manage marketing attribution where a title uses advertising or attribution services.
- Protect our services, prevent cheating or abuse, enforce our Terms of Use, comply with law, and respond to lawful requests.
Where consent is required by law or platform policy, we ask for it before collecting or using data for that purpose. You may be able to withdraw consent through the game settings, device settings, app store controls, or by contacting us.
4. How information is shared
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us host, analyze, secure, operate, localize, advertise, or support our services.
- Platform providers such as Apple, Google, WeChat, payment processors, login providers, cloud save providers, or distribution partners where needed for their platform features.
- Analytics, crash reporting, advertising, attribution, and anti-fraud SDK providers where those SDKs are included in a game.
- Authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties where we believe disclosure is required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate abuse.
- A successor or buyer in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of business assets.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or cheating, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.
Retention periods vary by data type. For example, support messages may be kept while needed to resolve your request, gameplay records may be kept while your account or game profile remains active, and transaction or anti-fraud records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, security, or platform compliance reasons.
You can request deletion of your account or personal data through our Data Deletion page. If we must retain limited information for legitimate reasons, we will explain this where required and restrict the retained data to those purposes.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can use device settings to manage permissions such as notifications, tracking, advertising ID, local storage, or network access where supported by your device.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable law.
- You can opt out of certain interest-based advertising through device or platform controls, such as resetting or limiting use of your advertising ID.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails, if any, using the instructions in those messages or by contacting us.
We may need to verify your request before taking action. Some requests may be limited by law, security, fraud prevention, or platform requirements.
7. Children and age-appropriate use
Our general-audience games and websites are not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law, unless a specific title is clearly designed and published for that audience with a separate child-appropriate privacy notice.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age without required parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Security and international transfers
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
PicoJoy is based in Singapore and our service providers may process information in Singapore and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
9. Third-party services and links
Our services may include links to third-party websites, app stores, payment systems, social platforms, ad networks, analytics providers, or SDKs. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We encourage you to review those notices.
For app store submissions, the privacy disclosures in App Store Connect, Google Play Data safety, and any in-app disclosures should be kept consistent with this Privacy Policy and with the actual SDKs, permissions, and features used in each title.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice where required by law or platform policy.
